Baby numero 2

It's alive! Baby's measuring at 7 cm (2.8 inches) and heart rate is a fast 176. We're 13 weeks along and according to the baby's measurements the due date is still at about Oct. 31st (6 months away). I still think it's a boy... but I'm probably wrong means I thought Lillie was a boy also. We're excited, seeing the baby and hearing the heart beat made it all seem real and worthwhile. Having another baby is just as exciting as having your first, I decided.

Sorry the pics are so small. I can't figure it out.

Happy Birthday OLD MAN!

Dustin got a big stack of pancakes for his breakfast today. I can't believe he's 27! When we first met he was 23 and I was 19. I tried to give him a good Birthday this year since he's had a rough couple of months. I thew him a bowling birthday party at Teton Lanes and alot of our family and a few friends came. Dustin loves bowling and even has his own shoes and 2 bowling balls. In college he was on a bowling team and they won the BYU-I championship. (He still won't throw that T-shirt away.) So bowling seemed to be the best option. We also went to Texas Roadhouse (his fav) and he got a big bloody steak. All in all he had a fabulous day.

Dust and Lil'.

My sisters Dana and Elisha. The lighting was way off. Sorry.

He bowled a 162. I'm not telling my score.

Lillie was really liking that purple 17 lb ball. Don't worry, it was way too heavy for her to even atempt at getting down. (I'm not a bad parent, I swear.)

Our cute neices! Leah and Rachael.

Tyson, Alli, Che, and Amber trying to act natural. I laugh everytime I look at Alli. She's so funny. Oh, and Amber had the cutest purse. Amber and Che are our adopted friends.

The entire bowling alley joined in singing. Dustin got shy.
Blowing all 27 out.

There's Amber's cute purse on the very left.

Jackson

Here are a few pictures I've taken so far of our new place.

The view of the Teton's from our house.

Our little apartment. We're on the bottom level.

A view of Jackson from the Elk Refuge.

Taking a walk. It really wasn't as cold as it looks, I promise.

Making some banana bread! Lillie recently has really liked trying to help with things.

Lillie in her new curlers. I thought she would be playing with them and trying to take them out but she never did once. Oh, and here is Lillie with her curly hair.
This is the quilt I FINALLY finished for Lillie. I started making it about 5 months ago.

Easter Time!

Lillie sure liked Easter! We spent the holiday with family in Idaho Falls and Rigby. Lillie ended up going to 4 Easter Egg Hunts, and I think by the 4th one she finally figured out that the idea is to get as many eggs as possible. It was cute to see how excited she got when she found another egg- just to watch her walk by 7 others to get to the one she wanted.
We didn't have our camera, and we obviously didn't know how to use the camera we borrowed, so most of the pictures were blurry. Here are a couple. Most of the pictures are at my sister Dana's house. The Easter Bunny COVERED their entire yard (and it's a huge yard) with like, 200 eggs for 5 girls.

Oh, and just for the record, Lillie did end up throwing up that night. A few too many jelly beans!

Buh Bye Magna!

We're outta here! We plan on moving on Wednesday. The Elders Quorum are coming on Tuesday night... so we're frantically packing. I had no idea how long it was going to take. We spent about 5 hours packing and only finished Lillie's bedroom and 1 1/2 bathrooms. We're getting rid of a bunch of stuff, so that's good. My sister, Dana, is watching Lillie until Wednesday morning. I miss her so much. It's just easier to focus on packing and not worrying about a rambunctious 18 month old.
We're sad to leave some friends behind, but happy to be moving on. We liked it here, but we were never in-love with Utah. I think we just appreciate diversity and there wasn't much of that here. I'm sick of all the plastic surgery and name brand clothes (it wasn't too bad, just enough to be annoying), big hair and leggings tucked into boots. I will, however, miss the beautiful seasons! Utah has all 4 seasons- and autumn was my favorite by far. I'm also going to miss working at the Temple at night. Sometimes it was hard to go to work, but I had so many good experiences there and made so many friends. I'm sad to leave it all behind!
We got to go see our new apartment in Jackson, WY yesterday. It's pretty small (500 sq/ft) with 1 bedroom. It needs a good cleaning, but I think it will be just fine. Jackson is beautiful. We're 1/2 mile away from the Elk refuge and you can see the Grand Teton's from our doorstep. We'll only be there for about 3 months though then on to another location!
It's gonna be a busy next 3 or 4 days. Packing SUCKS!!
